Ms. Becky Potes has a degree in Business Administration. She has also attended and completed all the required courses required by the Office of Child Care, Region IV, such as the 90 hours mandatory child course program, Recognizing and Understanding the Signs of Child Abuse, Behavior Management for School-Age Children, Directors Administration course, Autism 101, Developmental Progress Overview, Americans With Disabilities Act, etc. We are a Maryland Excel Level 5 accredited by the NECPA (National Early Childhood Program Program Accreditation).
She owned and operated a before and after-school program in Temple Hills, Maryland, from June 2010 through May 2014. She received several commendations and compliments from the parents of the children she cared for, who were happy with how their children were cared for. The program was a success. The children could pass their classes with flying colors, thanks to the help of the professionals she hired to help the children in their school work. She let go of the program because she wanted to have a place where she could also care for infants and toddlers.
Ms. Perla Relente has a Bachelor of Science in Education, majoring in General Science. She also has a master of Arts in Education, majoring in Educational Management and Special Education. She also took Child Care Development and Teaching Pre-K at Prince George's Community College in 2013. She taught for 20 years of teaching experience in the Philippines and 7 years at Prince George's County Public School System. Ms. Perla is currently in charge of our PreK 4 students.
Ms. Alicia Gutierrez has a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with 25 years of experience teaching at the elementary level. She is presently helping in the care of our infants.
Ms. Josephine Paredes has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Degree. She has 20 years of experience teaching elementary in the Philippines and another seven years as a kindergarten and elementary teacher at Prince George's County Public School System. She retired from PG County in 2019. She decided to get back to teaching, so she came to us in early 2021 to join our program. She is very good with the children, and they just love her. She used to be named teacher of the month while at Prince George's County Public School System. Ms. Josie is assigned to our Pre-K3 department.
