The teacher will be responsible for fulfilling the mission of FUTURE LEADERS LEARNING CENTER, LLC. Their duties will include researching and developing engaging
lesson plans, as well as providing group and individual instruction by established curriculum guidelines. The teacher must aim to promote students' intellectual, social, and physical growth, thereby contributing to their overall development and achievement.
This position also involves supervising a team of teacher assistants and aides, overseeing the research and implementation of curricula in various content areas, participating in professional learning communities, and utilizing research-based assessment strategies.
1.) Provide high-quality education and care by developing and implementing a developmentally appropriate program for children
2.) Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children, engage in positive verbal interactions during daily routines, and promote positive self-esteem.
3.) Develop and implement daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom management techniques using the program curriculum for whole groups, small groups, and individual children.
4.) Utilize appropriate direct and indirect guidance strategies to manage behavior.
5.) Observe each child for developmental milestones and create portfolios and records of their growth.
6.) Attend and participate in parent conferences, encourage daily communication about children's progress, and implement learning opportunities to address individual learning goals.
7.) Review journals and literature to provide the team and Center with current information on strategies for working with preschool children and suggest procedural improvements.
8.) Summarize, prepare, and distribute researched information and suggestions for use by the team, center staff, and professional personnel.
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. At least two years of relevant work experience in an early childhood setting, including direct
professional experience.
High energy levels and strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with
technology. Ability to work effectively with staff, children, and parents, fostering a positive
team environment. A solid understanding of child development, along with excellent
leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
